JS DECO was founded by Jacek Sobis, a highly skilled furniture designer and craftsman with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry.
With a solid educational background in wood and furniture manufacturing, Jacek honed his skills across the Polish and European markets before bringing his expertise to the UK in 2008, where he initially worked as a fitter for premium furniture installations.
Driven by his passion for bespoke design, Jacek established JS DECO in 2013. Today, he manages a carefully selected team of expert craftsmen who share his commitment to quality and precision. Together, they create tailor-made furniture that combines timeless design with superior craftsmanship.

Veneered plywood kitchens are the optional solution for those who are looking for eco-furniture; however, they would like to have more flexibility in the matter of visual finishes. Which, as a result, can make a really durable and beautiful kitchen.
The core of the cabinets and doors is made of birch or hardwood plywood, and all visible elements are covered with high-quality natural veneers, including the most popular oak, cherry, and walnut, but also more exotic like ebony, zebrano, or mahogany.
This type of modern-style kitchen falls into the high-end range. It is crafted from 18mm birch plywood and finished with a choice of highly durable laminates. In addition to the Fenix NTM laminate, available in a selection of over 30 deep matte and fingerprint-resistant colours, we also offer Formica and Egger laminates, known for their robustness and wide range of aesthetic options available in over 200 different decors.

Another premium and highly durable solution available in the range of our bespoke birch ply kitchens is a combination of birch plywood with 12mm Corian panels. Again the cabinet carcases can be made in two premium and standard versions. However, doors and worktops are covered with panels made of Corian, available in various structures and colours.
It is a highly durable and antibacterial option often used in professional and commercial kitchens.

The prospect of designing a new kitchen was rather daunting, but Jacek was very helpful and flexible during the whole process – from design (and the odd redesign request) to delivery to supporting the installation by our builder. Any questions were quickly and comprehensively answered. We opted for a hob with a drawdown extractor and thanks to Jacek’s design we didn’t lose much more storage space in the cupboard underneath than we would have for a conventional hob – a much appreciated detail.
Overall the kitchen is just absolutely fabulous – very solidly build, the drawers open and close smoothly and the wood is nice to the touch. Plus the whole kitchen is just so stylish to look at! Many thanks to Jacek and his team!

North Devon renovation with Scandinavian design kitchen in ply, Fenix white and oak.
JS Deco provided a high-quality kitchen which is functional and beautiful. Jacek’s high attention to detail is inspiring. He is proud of the work he produces and is always contactable by email or phone – no matter how big or small the query is.
We are currently renovating our home in North Devon. We have gone for a Scandinavian style inside and out and we wanted a kitchen which was stylish, timeless in design, highly functional, sustainable and long lasting. We found JS Deco through a Google search and got in touch. Jacek asked us for our budget and the style we wanted. He understood our needs and what was important to us and came up with a design within our budget. He took a lot of pride in perfecting the design, making use of the space – giving us functionality and a beautiful design.
We were concerned being so far away and unable to visit Jacek, parting with a decent amount of money with a company we could only check out through reviews was a concern to us. We had a video call with Jacek to see the workshop and he arranged for several of his previous customers to contact us. We were able to ask them questions and hear their high praise of Jacek and his team, which put our minds at rest and helped us choose JS Deco. I would happily put someone’s mind at rest if they had the same concerns.
Our kitchen has just been fitted by our Carpenter, who had support from Jacek via phone and video calls. It looks incredible and exceeds our expectations. We can’t wait to move in and start using it. And stroking it! The ply edges and Fenix worktop, doors and splashback are so smooth!

If you think that bespoke cabinets are out of reach then think again! After an 11-year wait we finally remade our kitchen. Our original plan was to purchase standardised pre-made cabinets. However, we discovered that for not that much more money we could design EXACTLY what we wanted. We selected JS DECO LTD, master premium bespoke furniture carpenters. Jacek and his team worked closely with us to bring the kitchen design to life, ensuring that we, the architect and the building team were aware of all possible options and giving us practical advice about what might work best. JS Deco also were meticulous on the installation, ensuring everything was solidly fitted and looked excellent. As installation progressed on the day, there were a few instances of design ‘tweaks’ requiring creative solutions in the moment – Jacek and his experienced JS Deco team handled these with no problem. Jacek was responsive to any and all queries raised throughout the process and he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed when we needed it. Moreover, Jacek and his team were a joy to work with. We give JS Deco Ltd our highest recommendation!

In the photos you can see the white cabinets along the wall and the contrasting grey island cabinets. These cabinets are beautiful and easy to keep clean.
See how cleverly the cabinets fit around the chimney breast, maintaining the sleek even look and still making usable cabinets even given the shallow space?
Some cabinets can be fitted with beautiful pull-out drawers with backlighting – we got a pantry cupboard designed with these, it’s delightful.
As was mentioned we had to contend with a chimney breast requiring shallow depth cabinets – see how this was dealt with to enable maximum deep depth space in the adjacent cabinet.
And see this creative solution: We wanted the cutlery drawer to pull out when the main drawer was pulled out – did not want to pull two drawers every time we wanted to access the cutlery (which was often) – Jacek on the day designed a magnetic clasp which pulls the cutlery drawer out, and then the magnets disconnect to enable access to the drawers underneath.
